JBT listed in U.S. Bankers Top 200
Community Banks and Thrifts

Lebanon, PA, August 5, 2010:  Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) claimed the 82nd spot in the nation’s Top 200 Community Banks and Thrifts, as ranked by U.S. Banker magazine in its 2010 edition.  This ranking for JBT is up from 165th place in 2009, and places JBT among the top 15 community banks based in Pennsylvania. JBT is the only community bank within Lebanon County to achieve the superior ranking.  More than 1,100 community banks and thrifts were evaluated nationwide by three-year average return on equity (ROE). The rankings were based on an analysis of data compiled by SNL Financial LC.

Additionally, JBT was recently ranked among the Top 4 fastest growing businesses in Lebanon County during the past three years, according to Central Penn Business Journal, a business-focused weekly newspaper published by Journal Publications in Harrisburg.

JBT operates nine locations throughout the Lebanon County, including the newest location at Northside Commons Shopping Center in Palmyra.  In December 2009, JBT reported having assets of $333,000,000.
